يشهد سوق الدواء حالة من الترقب والحذر.
قد لا تكون التأثيرات مباشرة أو حادة حتى الآن،
لكن طبيعة القطاع الدوائي تجعله سريع التأثر بأي تغيرات سياسية أو أمنية، حتى وإن كانت محدودة.
ما الذي يمكن ملاحظته حاليًا؟
▪️ تباطؤ نسبي في بعض القرارات الاستثمارية والتوسعية.
▪️ حذر في خطط الاستيراد نتيجة تقلبات محتملة في سلاسل الإمداد أو تكاليف الشحن.
▪️ زيادة الاهتمام بإدارة المخزون وتقييم الجاهزية للطوارئ.
▪️ ارتفاع تكاليف غير مباشرة مرتبطة بالتأمين والنقل وسعر الصرف.
في مثل هذه الأوقات، لا يواجه السوق أزمة فعلية بقدر ما يواجه "إدارة احتمالات".
وهنا تبرز أهمية التحرك الاستباقي، من خلال:
• تعزيز تنويع مصادر التوريد.
• تطوير خطط استمرارية الأعمال بشكل عملي وقابل للتنفيذ.
• رفع مستوى الشفافية والتنسيق بين المصنعين والموزعين.
• دعم جهود التصنيع المحلي وتقليل الاعتماد الخارجي قدر الإمكان.
• الاستثمار في أنظمة رقمية تتيح رؤية دقيقة لحركة المخزون وسلاسل الإمداد.
الاستقرار في قطاع الدواء لا يتحقق فقط في أوقات الهدوء،
بل يُبنى من خلال إدارة واعية ومتوازنة في فترات عدم اليقين.

In light of the ongoing developments in the region,
the pharmaceutical market is experiencing a phase of caution and anticipation.

The effects may not be immediate or severe at this stage,
yet the nature of the pharmaceutical sector makes it highly sensitive to political or security changes even limited ones.

What can currently be observed?

▪️ A relative slowdown in certain investment and expansion decisions.
▪️ Increased caution in import planning due to potential fluctuations in supply chains and shipping costs.
▪️ Greater focus on inventory management and emergency preparedness.
▪️ Rising indirect costs related to insurance, transportation, and currency exchange.

In times like these, the market is not facing an actual crisis as much as it is managing probabilities.

This is where proactive action becomes essential, through:

• Strengthening supplier diversification.
• Developing practical and executable business continuity plans.
• Enhancing transparency and coordination between manufacturers and distributors.
• Supporting local manufacturing efforts to reduce external dependency where possible.
• Investing in digital systems that provide clear visibility into inventory movement and supply chains.

Stability in the pharmaceutical sector is not achieved only in times of calm
it is built through balanced and informed management during periods of uncertainty.

As part of our ongoing support to pharmaceutical investors, we conducted an on-site Technical & Engineering Due Diligence at one of the pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Barcelona.

The assessment included:

🔹 Technical and operational evaluation of the facility
🔹 Review of production lines and equipment condition
🔹 Infrastructure and utilities assessment
🔹 Identification of technical and compliance gaps
🔹 Defining required upgrades to enhance efficiency and operational readiness

The objective was not only to assess the current status,
but to provide structured technical insight that supports confident investment decisions and outlines a clear roadmap toward full compliance and sustainable operational excellence.

تطبيق Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) داخل المنشآت الدوائية يواجه عددًا من التحديات العملية، خاصة عند الانتقال من المتطلبات النظرية إلى التنفيذ الفعلي داخل بيئة التشغيل.

أبرز تحديات تطبيق GMP:

1️⃣ الفجوة بين المتطلبات والتطبيق العملي
كثير من التحديات تظهر عند محاولة تحويل الإرشادات التنظيمية إلى إجراءات تشغيلية واقعية تتماشى مع طبيعة العمليات اليومية داخل المصنع.

2️⃣ جاهزية التفتيش المستمرة
الامتثال الفعلي لـ GMP يتطلب جاهزية دائمة للتفتيش، وليس الاستعداد فقط قبل الزيارات الرقابية، وهو ما يعتمد على استدامة الأنظمة والإجراءات.

3️⃣ تكامل الأنظمة الهندسية مع متطلبات الجودة
عدم الربط الصحيح بين التصميم الهندسي، المرافق، والمعدات من جهة، ومتطلبات الجودة والتأهيل من جهة أخرى، يُعد من أكثر أسباب عدم الامتثال شيوعًا.

4️⃣ إدارة التغيير (Change Management)
أي تغيير في العمليات أو المعدات أو المرافق قد يؤثر بشكل مباشر على حالة الامتثال، ما يستلزم تقييم أثر التغيير وتوثيقه بشكل منهجي.

5️⃣ التوثيق وسلامة البيانات (Data Integrity)
توثيق العمليات يجب أن يكون دقيقًا، متكاملًا، ويمكن تتبعه، حيث تُعد سلامة البيانات عنصرًا أساسيًا في إثبات الامتثال أثناء التفتيش.

Key GMP Implementation Challenges:

1️⃣ Gap between regulatory requirements and practical application
Many challenges arise when translating guidelines into realistic operating procedures that align with actual manufacturing activities.

2️⃣ Continuous inspection readiness
Effective GMP compliance requires ongoing readiness for inspections, rather than temporary preparation before regulatory visits. This depends on the sustainability of systems and procedures.

3️⃣ Integration of engineering systems with quality requirements
Inadequate alignment between facility design, utilities, and equipment on one side, and qualification and quality requirements on the other, remains one of the most common causes of non-compliance.

4️⃣ Change Management
Any change in processes, equipment, or facilities can directly impact compliance status, requiring structured impact assessment and proper documentation.

5️⃣ Documentation and Data Integrity
Documentation must be accurate, complete, and traceable. Data Integrity is a critical element in demonstrating compliance during inspections.
