There are separate pools for men and women; shaded areas and picnic areas; and chalets for an overnight stay. Afra Hot Mineral Springs (or Afra Hot Springs or Hammamat Afra or حمامات عفرا) is a traditional Jordanian hammamat. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: Since December 2021, the site has been operated by the Dana and Qadisiyah Local Community Cooperative under the authorisation of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan. FACILTIES:
- The natural springs are known for their health and therapeutic benefits. There are separate pools for men and women; shaded areas and picnic areas; and chalets for an overnight stay.
- Currently, there are no restaurant facilities, but do bring your own picnic! Cold drinks and water are available to purchase onsite.
- Please bring your own towels! Currently, there are no towels available to rent. LOCAL CUSTOMS:
Jordanians and non-Jordanians are welcomed at the site. We ask that all visitors respect local customs regarding modesty and gender separate bathing. BOOKING:

COSTS:
- 1 JOD entrance ticket per person for Jordanians only
- 5 JOD entrance ticket per person for Arabs
- 7.5 JOD entrance ticket per person for others

LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION: Afra Hot Springs is in the Tafilah Governorate of Jordan and is about 160 km from Amman. Transport by car is needed, there are no buses passing the site. THE DANA AND QADISIYAH LOCAL COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE is also known as the Dana Cooperative. It was set up by local youth in 1994 shortly after the Jordanian Government authorised that a nature reserve (Dana Nature Reserve) be set up in part of the community's customary land (common land). كل شاليه يتكون من غرفة فيها سريرين مفردين وخزانة ومكيف يتبعها حمام داخلي .
الشاليه الكبير فيه اضافة جلسة كنبايات ومجلى ومكيف ثاني.
يسمح باضافة فرشات من قبل الزبائن.
اما البرك العامة فهي:
بركة مغلقة للنساء
وبرك مفتوحة للرجال
وهناك بركة صغيرة إيجار اضافي بالساعة (في حرم الشاليهات) (لغير المقيمين في الشاليهات)
