【International staff for ATLAS】

We’re happy to welcome Sameh Eltaybani to our team! Sameh joined us in October 2025 and brings a PhD in Health Science and Nursing, along with extensive experience in international healthcare research. With his multicultural background and global perspective, he adds valuable depth and diversity to our work. Sameh is now part of the ATLAS project, contributing to the MASTER KEY Asia research group, where his expertise and cross-cultural insight are already strengthening our team.

🤝 APO Visit: Cancer Registry & Cohort Research Exchange 2025
We were pleased to welcome colleagues from the National Cancer Center, Japan (NCC) to the ATLAS Asian Partnerships Office (APO) for an in-depth discussion on the current landscape of cohort research and clinical research.
💡 Who joined: Dr Tomohiro Matsuda (Director, Cancer Registry Center; Asian partnership Section), Dr. Megumi Hori (Head, Cancer Registry Center), Dr. Rieko Kanehara (Researcher, Cohort Research Division), and Dr Mariko Hanafusa (Researcher, Cohort Research Division).
🌏 Looking ahead: Conversations like this help deepen cross-team alignment and support sustainable collaboration across borders—connecting real-world data, registries, and clinical studies to accelerate evidence generation in Asia.
