九州大学は、ノーベル平和賞のユヌス教授率いるグラミングループ（バングラデシュ）との協定に基づいて、2009年からヘルスケア領域の国際アウトバウンド活動としてPHCを推進しており、これはOVEX活動の一つと位置づけられます。途上国の農村を中心に、ITを用いたヘルスケアサービスの普及と同時に貧困者の自立・起業を目指すプロジェクトです。
Since 2009, Kyushu University has promoted the Portable Health Clinic (PHC) in collaboration with the Grameen Group led by Nobel laureate Professor Yunus in Bangladesh. This initiative, part of OVEX activities, aims to spread healthcare services using IT in rural areas of developing countries while promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship among the poor.
