The 10th Kyushu International Dance Competition (KIDC 2026) is finally approaching!
As a special exhibition, Kyoshiro Oshima will create a special production of ‘The Nutcracker’ just for KIDC!🎭✨
Representing Fukuoka, dancers Saori Fukuda and Kanna Matsuda will deliver a captivating performance!💃🩰✨

On this special 10th anniversary occasion, KIDC hopes young dancers will see this wonderful work and be inspired!🌟

【KIDC 2026 よくある質問】
Q：体調不良やケガで棄権する場合、出場料の返金は可能ですか？
A：ご入金後の返金はできかねますが、診断書など理由を証明するものをご提示いただければ翌年の同一部門への出場に振り替えることは可能です。その場合、所属先がある方は申込時の所属先より変更がないことが条件となります。振り替えは次開催の１度のみ可能です。

Q: Is it possible to get a refund of the entry fee if I have to abandon the competition due to illness or injury?
A: No refunds can be made after payment has been made, but it is possible to transfer the entry fee to the same category in the following year's competition if you can provide a medical certificate or other proof of the reason for your absence. In this case, if you have an affiliated studio, the studio must remain unchanged from the one you were affiliated with at the time of application. This carryover can be made only one time for the following year.

A：コンクールまたはWSに参加しないことが不利になることはありませんが、審査員に見てもらう機会は多い方がチャンスを掴みやすいと思います。

A: Not participating in the competition or WS is not a disadvantage, but the more opportunities you have to be seen by the jury, the easier it will be for you to get a chance.

【KIDC 2026 スカラシップ】
前回に引き続き、KIDC 2026でもラトビア国立リガ・バレエ学校のスカラシップのチャンスが設けられることが決まりました！日本国内でも非常に貴重な機会にご注目ください。日本人学生がいない中、集中してバレエ、キャラクターダンス、コンテンポラリーダンスを学べます。
KIDC 2026 は2026年3月25日（水）、26日（木）SAWARAPIA（旧ももちパレス）にて開催。ウェブサイトにて申し込み受付中です。

[KIDC 2026 Scholarship]
Following the previous one, it has been decided that scholarship opportunities at the Latvian National Riga Ballet School will also be available at KIDC 2026! Please take note of this extremely valuable opportunity within Japan. With no Japanese students present, you can concentrate on studying ballet, character dance, and contemporary dance.
KIDC 2026 will be held on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26, 2026 at SAWARAPIA (formerly Momochi Palace). Registration is now open on the website.

前回に引き続きアネット・ロスリ・ダンスアカデミー（ブリズベン・オーストラリア）から「エリート・トレーニング・プログラム」「サマースクール」についてスカラシップをいただけることになりました！海外生活にチャレンジしてみたい方にうってつけのチャンスです。
KIDC 2025で本スカラシップを受賞した方々も、12月中旬の出発にむけて準備中です！
KIDC 2026 は2026年3月25日（水）、26日（木）SAWARAPIA（旧ももちパレス）にて開催。ウェブサイトにて申し込み受付中です。

We are pleased to announce that Annette Roselli Dance Academy (Brisbane, Australia) has offered us scholarships for the Elite Training Program and Summer School just as KIDC 2025. The awardees at KIDC 2025 have started preparation for their tour at the end of this coming November.
KIDC 2026 will be held on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26, 2026 at SAWARAPIA (formerly Momochi Palace). Registration is now open on the website.

【キルギスだより】
KIDC 2025にて「キルギス国立バレエ団：研修参加・公演参加」のチャンスを獲得し、現在キルギスに滞在しているのは：
泉水友里さん（無所属）
朝比奈瑠香さん（無所属）
二條愛梨さん（アイコシーマンバレエスタジオ）
の３名です。代表して泉水友里さんよりレポートが届きました。

キルギスに到着して1ヶ月が経ちました。
9月下旬に新シーズンがあき、私たちは既に4つのバレエと2つのオペラに出演させていただきました。
現在は３つの作品のリハーサルに参加しています。
新しい音楽や振付を覚えるのに必死な毎日ですが、劇場生活を経験する機会を頂けたことにとても感謝しています。

気候や街の雰囲気が日本と異なる為、身体が慣れるのに少し時間がかかっていますが、残りの研修期間を有意義に過ごしたいと思います。

忙しく舞台生活を送られているとのこと羨ましい限りです。体調に気をつけてこれから寒くなるシーズンを乗り切ってください。応援しています！

【Report from Kyrgyz】
The following three individuals, who won the opportunity to participate in training and performances with the Kyrgyz National Ballet at KIDC 2025, are currently staying in Kyrgyz:

Airi Nijo (Aiko Seaman Ballet Studio)
A report has arrived from Yuri Senzui, representing the group.

It has been one month since arriving in Kyrgyzstan.
The new season opened in late September, and we have already performed in four ballets and two operas.
We are currently participating in rehearsals for three new productions.
Every day is spent intensely learning new music and choreography, but we are deeply grateful for this opportunity to experience life in a theater.

The climate and atmosphere of the city are different from Japan, so it's taking a little time for our bodies to adjust, but we want to make the most of the remaining training period.

We're so envious to hear you're leading such a busy life on stage. Please take care of yourselves and get through the coming cold season. We're rooting for you!
