This one is more about the physical practice. Of course, we all have different bodies—this is where self-exploration begins. Acknowledge where these postures feel good in your body.

As a yoga student and teacher, I’ve found these poses bring a deep sense of release in my hips. Each one benefits the hip area, stretching all its compartments. I find them especially helpful after a long day, after traveling, or simply when I want to create more space.

Here are my favorite go-to poses 😊💛🙏
• Utthan Pristhasana – Lizard
• Parivrtta Utthan Pristhasana – Lizard Twist
• Baddha Konasana – Bound Angle
• Anjaneyasana – Low Lunge
• Gomukhasana legs – Cow Face Legs
• Ardha Matsyendrasana – Half Lord of the Fishes (Half Spinal Twist)
• 90/90 Pose
• Double Pigeon (Fire Log Pose)

One of my favorite yoga sutras is:

“Sthira Sukham Asanam”
Steady and comfortable.

This teaching reminds me to find balance not just in my practice, but in my life.

Life can be chaotic, joyful, difficult, unpredictable— sometimes all at once. But when we learn to move from a place of balance, of effort and ease, we create space for harmony.

I’m not saying life will be perfect… but learning to rest in evenness can bring bliss to the soul. 🌿☀️🙏

Going with the flow rather than forcing. This is a powerful mantra for me because it has taught me about letting things be as they are and letting go of control. When I mean going with flow, it doesn’t mean doing nothing and just watching the world go by. Going with the flow is when we stop fighting things we can’t control. We don’t let stressors take over our life in a way that we lose our inner peace, our center. Hope to see you this week 💗☀️ Namaste 🙏

The realization of self-awareness: it is a work in progress. It is part of my present. Turning into my feelings, my patterns, and so on, made me realize the universe within me. It is not about judging me, but it is realizing that I have so many things that I have been conditioned and learned through my experiences; I embrace all. I hug them all with humility and compassion. This is about understanding myself and loving myself as I am. Humility is a big part. Therefore, I am open to learn, adjust, and change. Lastly, when we can see ourselves, we can see others with the same eyes.

Hello Friends 🧘🏻‍♀️💗

This is the schedule for the month of May. This month will emphasize our hamstring compartment; we will build length and strength through that area. Also, my intention for this month is self-awareness: becoming aware of our inner-self, recognizing our patterns, and interactions without judgement. It is about appreciating where we and others are. We can apply self-awareness into our practice by recognizing what feels good and what doesn’t. Hope to see you friends 🙏💗

Changing the concept of me
Failure
Trying
I am Fear. I’m here not to see you grow.
I’m here to see you hiding in your cocoon.
I’m here to stop you from blossoming.
I’m here to make you doubt every time you have a manifestation or a dream.
I’m here to make you observe others getting out of their comfort zone.
I am Fear, and I’m here to prevent you from anything you want to try or experience.

Fear can be an indicator of protection, a protection we don’t need. We learn from failures; if we don’t fall, how can we learn to get up? It is like a child trying walk, and as they try to walk, they grab everything. But they still fall and learn techniques through the process to get up until they finally get the ability to walk without holding onto anything. The vast majority of the time we focus on giving a great result; we want to achieve the final point. Fear can be there to tell us “don’t do it” because it might not be a great outcome. We stop because we are looking for perfectionism. From my mistakes and failures I will learn and I will blossom 💗 Fear, you must go. You are stopping my dreams. I’m thankful you are there to protect me from falling but I need some challenges to grow as a human and have a better vision of what life wants from me.

Changes:
They can be scary; not knowing the unknown can bring fears and doubts. We are so comfortable in our space that, when we have changes, it moves our whole world and we begin to question it. Is this good for me? Will I learn from this? What is going to happen if I do this, if I don’t do that, and so on. But the reality is changes are great opportunities to grow. It can be exciting embracing the unknown because we don’t have control over it. We can enjoy the process. Changes can be opportunities to expand our knowledge, to create a new version of your environment, or perhaps of yourself. It can make us more resilient and stronger. Changes can be a good thing but we won’t know if we avoid it. I always believe that changes are opportunities to grow, learn, expand, or have a different view or perspective. We just need to surrender and let it come to us without resistance. Changes.
