A Happy New Year 2026
お正月は父の故郷、鹿児島に
91歳になった母と娘と旅行に
行ってきました。
中町のスタジオの壁に
かけてある桜島の絵は
父の幼馴染の画家が
描いたものですが
私は子供の頃に行ったきり
一度も拝んだことが
ありませんでした🙏
去年は
大きいスタジオに引っ越す途中で
父が亡くなった知らせを受け
まるで新しいスタジオが
父の置き土産のような
気がしています。
故郷の海や山って
本当にありがたいものです。
今年も
ヨガを伝えること
人と人とが繋がること
世界が繋がることを
目指して邁進します🙏

Over the New Year, I traveled to Kagoshima—my father’s hometown—with my 91-year-old mother and my daughter.
The painting of Sakurajima in my studio was created by my father’s childhood friend.
In a way, this new studio feels like a gift he left behind.
The sea and mountains of one’s hometown are truly something to be grateful for.
This year, I will continue sharing yoga and creating connections—between people and across the world 🙏
