The JFA All-Japan O-40 Football Tournament was held recently in Akita. The Yokohama Senior 40 team, supported by Medi Legato as one of its corporate sponsors, came in third place nationally.
It was a treasured experience to have the opportunity to spend time with the coach,players, manager,and trainers on the bench, in the waiting room, and at the after-party, and to share their various thoughts.

We believe that support is not just about sending money, but about connecting people's aspirations and working together to realize their true aspirations.

What we felt firsthand at this tournament was that the fine line between success and failure comes down to whether or not you have made the best preparations from start to finish.

Did you spend a year scouting the opposing team and ensure you were in the best condition for the tournament?

Did you prepare in a way that would show yourselves, your teammates, and the other teams that did not make it to the national stage, that you had done your best?

How did you overcome communication challenges within your team before the tournament began?
It was truly a time of learning a lot.
I went there by plane and returned by Shinkansen. Just as the view from the sky is different from the view from the ground,I think that if we adjust our position, a new future will become clear.

I would like to see everyone's happy faces when we win the national championship next year. We too will be preparing little by little from now on.

Medi Legato donated an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to the Ex League, which is made up of powerful amateur soccer teams from the Kanto region of Japan.

The motivation to launch Medi Legato initially originated from my MBA thesis which focused on market research of the medical services provided in Southeast Asian countries. As a result of my research and an eye-opening observation， I was inspired to provide easier access to better health care services to people in developing countries， providing them with affordable checkups and early detection. By working side by side and sharing information with local medical staff we hope to achieve this goal.

On a personal note, I have myself experienced being a patient and being on the receiving end of medical treatment served to motivate me further.

We strive to make each person healthier and happier by promoting cooperation between experts and improving early detection of diseases.

We, Medi Legato, invite any problem-solving proposals from young researchers and university students, including international students, from both inside and outside of Japan, regarding the philosophy of universal health coverage (UHC) that World Health Organization (WHO) proposes.

We are actively seeking care services that help regarding disease prevention, treatment and functional recovery that contributes towards the health of all people.
We will provide USD2,000 for winning proposals as a research incentive award.
We hope to support as many young researchers and medical professionals as possible.
