A group of guests from Vietnam arrived at our hotel tonight. Most of them visited Japan for the first time so that we did our best to serve them in the Japanese way, OMOTENASHI! We are glad that they had enjoyed the meal and the show from our hotel!

We welcomed the groups of people from Viet Nam tonight! It is their first time to visit Japan and Inawashiro. We all hope that they will enjoy their holiday in this small, but beautiful resort Inawashiro!

How's it going everyone??
Inawashiro has been still chilly, but you are able to visit our Inawashiro Herb Garden and watch cherry blossoms from March 5th on Saturday. The blooming period of our cherry blossoms in the greenhouse of Inawashiro Herb Garden started a couple of days ago.
We hold this annual event so called "Yukimi-Sakura Matsuri" which means that "Snow-View-Cherry Blossom-Festival" at the greenhouse located besides Inawashiro Herb Garden.

We welcomed the guests from Chaina and Taiwan two days in a row!! Both tours are based on the program to learn and understand the situation of Fukushima. Hope this type of events will bring more people from overseas and stimulate the tourism industry in Fukushima!!

It had been foggy and chilly all day long today which was pretty tough for the competitors. But they showed us their fighting spirit for today's championship! Great work everyone!!

"GAMBARUZO!Fukushima" started this event in order to help recovering and encouraging the devasted area all around Fukushima prefecture from reputational damage caused by a massive earthquake occured on March 11, 2011.

We have been holding this event, "Gelande Gyakuso Marathon" - which means that "The marathon to run up ski slopes" - for almost 5years.
And now, we are looking for the opportunity to spread this event anywhere around the world.

No matter you can communicate in Japanese or not, whoever love to run, hike or any other sports related activities, please join us and run up slopes together!!
Let's cheer up FUKUSHIMA!!!

This winter has been mild so that our ski resort was forced to be closed early January but reopened on January 13th! Thanks to the current weather, the condition of our ski resort has been relatively better than last month! Here are the photos from last month when the guests from Taiwan experienced ski lesson at our resort! First experience is always exciting and memorable! They shredded well!!
