A new laser, the Carl Zeiss MEL90, was installed in April 2023. We have already performed about 1000 eye surgeries and have seen improved tracking performance and better post-operative results compared to the previous model. With the excellent exchange rate, why not consider LASIK surgery?

You don't need any appointment for the first exam to check your eligibility for the LASIK/PRK. It will cost 9000JPY around for the first exam to check your eligibility, and the cost is separated from the surgery cost (242000JPY for both eyes). It will take 60-90 minutes.
Please just walk in during our opening time.
But please check eligibility listed below to save your time and money.

1.Age

・under 18
It is too young to undergo LASIK and PRK. Ortho-K is available.

・over 40
You can undergo the surgery but LASIK/PRK cannot fix presbiopia.
You need reading glasses to see nearside after the surgery.

・around 60
You can undergo the surgery but you would be better to consider about cataract surgery.

2.Estrogen

Estrogen make your cornea soft and affect to your visual acuity.

・pregnant
You cannot undergo the surgery. You should wait at least 3 month after you have a baby.

・breast feeding
You should stop breast feeding and wait at least 3 month.

We check your visual acuity and wait until it get stabled.

3.Visual acuity

Visual acuity corrected by glasses or contact lenses should be over 20/20. Or we cannot make the visual acuity over 20/20 after the surgery.

・Too strong myopia
over -8D you cannot undergo laser eye surgery.
We recommend ICL surgery.

・Too strong astigmatism
over -5D you cannot undergo.

・Too strong hyperopia
over +3D It is hard to fix it.

4.Thickness of the cornea

We have strict guideline about the thickness of the cornea.
We should remain 400-450micrometers after the surgery.
You do not have enough thickness of the cornea, you cannot undergo the surgery.

5. Body condition

You cannot undergo the surgery who have deseases hereunder.
cataract, glaucoma, retina's deseases, keratoconus, squint-eyed badly, badly diabetes, and more.

Please ask our doctor on the first exam.

6. Leave Okinawa soon
We should check your eye condition 6 months after the surgery. Sometimes, we do not accept to do the procedure people who leave Okinawa soon.

We supported this project.

IVAN, the world's greatest reggae dancer who raised up in Okinawa, try to help poor children in all over the world. He never give money to them, but give them one pen and a notebook to help themselves. He goes everywhere the poorest children lives in, Phillipines, Thailand, Kenia, and Jamaica.
