I’ve been into gardening for a while and I love putting seeds in the ground and watch them grow.

We are like those seeds of Caesalpinia Pulcherrima. If you just have them in the box, nothing will happen. They can stay like this for many years. The first effort is to take the seeds out then we need to put them in the soil and water them. And then the magic happens. This little one is a day old and still needs some extra care. As it grows I will put it in the bigger pot and use some fertilizer for it to grow and bloom so beautifully.

We are like this seed. We need to make an effort to take the first step and then create the right environment for us to grow. It’s more difficult in the beginning so we need to really give ourselves lots of love and extra care. When the change starts happening it feels amazing. Sometimes we might think we are good now and we let go of the care. The thing is that it is a never ending process and we need to remember to support ourselves all the time. Just as we cannot stop watering the plants we cannot stop caring about ourselves 💚

As parents we often worry about our children and our relationship with them. It is sometimes very difficult to create a healthy relationship no matter how much we try.

Before I did the Relationship reading with my kids we were in lots of troubles. Constant fighting and arguments. I felt like I was constantly hitting the wall.

The readings allowed me to understand myself and my children better. It was so important to know who they were on the Soul level because I could finally understand them. By respecting each other for who we were we were able to create a deep and loving bond.

In this process the biggest challenge was to let go of my own vision of who the kids should be. They are different from me, have different ways of doing things and different gifts to share with the world. Letting go of my attachments allowed them to flourish, allowed them to be truly themselves 💚

The importance of Definition

How often do you get into an argument with someone trying to prove that you are right about something and the other person does not understand what we you saying?

It probably happens quite often and can be very difficult especially with someone who we love and care about like our child, significant other, parent, friend.

The issue with communication is often the main reason for our relationships to suffer. We can't express ourselves properly and feel dismissed, misunderstood, belittled or ignored.

To understand the other person's point of view on a subject is understanding their definition of it.

Every person has their own dictionary, where each word is defined based on who they are, their experiences, traumas, triggers, upbringing, environment etc. Our definitions are ours only and don't apply to other people. When we get into an argument, we assume that the other person knows our definition and get frustrated if they don't. But nobody is a mind-reader, so they look at the same situation from a different perspective and there is nothing wrong with it.

That is why, when an issue pops, we need to first make it clear that we talk about the same thing.

For example, someone tells me that I am irresponsible, and I get offended of course because in my opinion I am a responsible person. The thing is that for them the lack of responsibility means not washing the dishes right after eating while for me irresponsibility means for example leaving a baby in the car while shopping. Leaving the dishes in the sink for me is just a slight messiness, nothing else.

When you planning to have an important conversation, please make sure that you and the other person have the understanding of each other definitions.
