✨Meet our ShisaCare Team✨
Today's spotlight is on our Clinic Director Cristina!
Cristina Oshiro was born and lived in Brazil until she was 14 and Portuguese is her first language. She then moved to Japan and so has both Brazilian and Japanese educations while learning Japanese, Spanish and English.
She earned a degree in Management and Information Science at Meio University in Okinawa, then married and lived in Korea for ten years, where she learned her 5th language, Korean, and became an Intercultural Understanding Lecturer at kindergartens, elementary schools, high schools, and universities. She also worked in personnel management in the tourism and education fields, meeting and working with people from all over the world.
Though all these experiences, she has learned to have a very positive attitude despite any situation and to become a genuine problem-solving expert. Cristina loves to travel, explore nature, and discover new places. She also enjoys diving, driving, hiking, swimming, cycling, watching movies and dramas, listening to music, karaoke or join in any activity where she can have fun with family, friends, and co-workers.
Sometimes she likes just to stay at home and sleep as much as possible, maybe because she is also a mother of FIVE, including three teenagers! When she is not spending time with her family at home, she can be found very busy with her administrative support work at ShisaCare, where she loves taking care of our clients and her fellow staff members.
