The Hotel New Akebono is a traditional Japanese Style Inn with natural hot spring baths, gourmet cuisine, and various spa services. It’s the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate, and experience Japanese “Omotenashi” (Japanese style customer service). Hotel New Akebono is located within a 20-minute drive from JR Toyosaka Station. Each Japanese-style guestroom features traditional tatami (woven-straw

) flooring and a relaxing ambience. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby. While staying at the New Akebono Hotel, guests can enjoy herbal steam baths, sparking water spa treatments and organic tea at the on-site Be Sasara spa. A gift shop and karaoke facilities are also available. A Japanese garden and a tea ceremony house provide a perfect spot for guests to unwind. Rooms come with traditional futon bedding, a flat-screen satellite TV and a fridge. Guests can try on yukata robes or make tea with an electric kettle and tea bags. The room includes a private toilet. Bathing and soaking is done in the shared public hot springs with other guests. The hotel is within a 7-minute walk to the Tsukioka Wakuwaku Farm and a 20-minute drive to Shibata Castle. Paid shuttles are available from both JR Toyosaka Station and JR Shibata Station. Free shuttle buses are available from JR Tsukioka Station, an 8-minute drive away, with an advance request. Guests can enjoy a Japanese breakfast buffet served at the dining room each morning. Guests with a dinner-inclusive plan can also savor lavish Japanese course meals prepared with fresh ingredients.
