We will tell you how long you can stay with the visa and what to do if you want to stay longer in Japan.

■ Visa Duration

Maximum duration: 5 years

Can be renewed every year

SSW2 is not available ✕

How to stay in Japan after SSW1 ends?
You have to pass the National Care Worker Certification Exam and get residency status!
However, you must meet the following requirements to take the test.
Have 3 years of caregiving experience under SSW1

Have Japanese language skills at JLPT N2 level(These are not mandatory, but recommended.)
