名前の由来は曽爾高原の「亀山」と、美人伝説にあるひょうたん型の「お亀池」から名づけられました。

露天風呂は男女週替り制の「石の浴室」と「木の浴室」の2種類があり、共に露天風呂があります。
木の浴室の露天風呂からは曽爾を代表とする、兜岳・鎧岳を一望でき、石の浴室からは曽爾高原が望める
パノラマ露天風呂です。
