Life Design Counseling offers a professional, c

onfidential counseling and coaching service to individuals, couples, families and organizational leaders within the vicinity of Takasago, Kakogawa, Himeji, Akashi and Kobe, Hyogo, Japan. We effectively assist clients who present a variety of general mental health and life concerns, e.g., depression, anxiety, stress, etc. Yet, Life Design Counseling is notably specialized in the area of relationship, e.g., romance/marriage, family and organizational relational dynamics. Life Design Counseling was founded in 2011 by Dr. Andrew Imbrie Tezuka, who is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Family Life Educator (See the official website for further details of credential). We hope to be a safe place to help you not only overcoming your challenges of life but also in becoming the best version of who you are.

Founded in 2011 by Dr. Andrew Imbrie (Tezuka), Life Design Counseling has been a professional, confidential counseling and coaching resource to individuals, couples, families and organizational leaders in Hyogo Prefecture, primarily within the vicinity of Takasago city, Kakogawa, Himeji, Akashi, Kobe, and Osaka.

We witness people struggling to go through life with all kinds of life issues. We take a special attention especially for those who are foreigners who are far away from their home country, living in a culture that is very different from their own. We understand their unique struggles of dealing with language barriers, and social isolation. A deep sense of disconnect and loneliness are often enough to trigger other mental health disorders. We are attuned to the difficulties that cross cultural relationship faces. Just to mention a few.

As a professional agency, we are equipped to assist clients who present a variety of general mental health and life concerns. Yet, Life Design Counseling is notably specialized in the area of relationship (e.g., romance/marriage, family, and organizational dynamics), depression/anxiety disorders, pastoral counseling, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
