Japankuru Funding is Japan based crowdfunding site, creating lasting relationships between Japanese people and foreign tourists by looking at the needs and problems of the current world from an inbound tourist standpoint, and offer products, services and experiences that can help be solutions to these problems.
We want to bring Japan to the wider world, and make visitors and residents enjoy their time here even more! We also want to put a focus on Japanese made products and allow people the world over to enjoy these things!!
Religious problems and questions, cultural differences, negative impacts of overtourism, Sustainable Development Goals, rubbish problems, Overtourism, Night Economy, Making it easier for disabled people to explore towns; all these are things that Japan must deal with if it is to continue to accept foreign tourists on a large number as travelling becomes easier.
You can find the site here: en.japankurufunding.com . Go and learn about some of the projects we have there today!
A great project that we had that looked at problems that inbound tourists face was the Vegetarian Guidebook, which looked to introduce people in Taiwan and Hong Kong that followed a vegetarian lifestyle to restaurants that could accomodate them in Japan! The page can be found here!
One of our first successful projects looking at solving overtourism in Japan was the Shirakawago project! This project was made to raise funds to help people enjoy the Light Up event in 2019! You can find the project page here.
The first successful project was the Kendama World Cup Project, which aimed to raise funds for the Kendama World Cup that was held in July 2018! This raised an amazing 10.5 Million Yen!
