G10 Career Mentorship & Parents’ Orientation on the New Education System
Career mentorship at the Grade 10 level, together with proper orientation of parents to the new education system, is essential for a smooth and successful transition. When both learners and parents clearly understand the structure, expectations, roles, and responsibilities within the new system, students are better guided in making informed academic and career choices.
Mulot Girls, a prime and fast growing school in Bomet County, provided a valuable platform for this important engagement. I was privileged to play a primary role in bringing parents, students, and stakeholders up to speed with the new system and the expectations that come with it.
Such initiatives ensure inclusive education for all and contribute to sustainable development. By empowering learners and aligning parents with the national education reforms, we support the successful implementation of the Government’s development agenda and help deliver on the vision set by the President of the Republic HE Dr. William Samoei Ruto .

Appreciation goes to Md. Sally Towett - Principal, Mdm Grace BOM chair, Mr. Barkesa PA chair and committed teachers from Mulot Girls.
God bless.

Today, under the banner of Witoboreshamaishacbo, our patron had the distinct honor of joining the welfare gathering held in support of Gilbert Kipkem, a bright and determined student who is preparing to join Lenana High School to further his education.

Gilbert's story is one of resilience and unshakable ambition. Despite living with a physical disability, he embodies the truth that *disability is not inability*. His aspiration to become a lawyer reflects not only his personal drive but also a deep belief in the transformative power of education.

His journey reminds us of the importance of inclusive empowerment and the need to stand behind every dream—regardless of the challenges faced. As a community, we are proud to walk with Gilbert, and we believe he will go on to become a beacon of hope and a voice for many.

Let’s continue to uplift and invest in such promising futures.

We were able to attend the Londiani Regional Youth Back to School Rally held at Africa Inland Church, which brought together youths from across Londiani Region, Kericho County. The event, made possible through the support of Bishop Paul Kirui, Deputy Presiding Bishop of AIC Kenya, alongside dedicated host pastors and church leaders, was a great success. It featured uplifting worship, prayer, and reflections that emphasized Christian values and strong spiritual foundations. The energy, fellowship, and meaningful engagement among the youth highlighted the power of unity and the vital role of the Church in shaping the next generation. I am grateful to have been part of this transformative experience and look forward to its lasting impact on the lives of the young people as Wito Boresha Maisha CBO.

We were honored to be represented at the . The two-day event brought together leaders, practitioners, researchers, and youth-focused organizations committed to improving mental health systems across the country.

The Summit was not only insightful but deeply energizing. We engaged in meaningful conversations on coordination, policy, youth wellbeing, and the role of community-based organizations in strengthening support systems. It was a reminder that sustainable mental health solutions require collaboration, clarity, and a shared commitment to listening to the voices of young people.

As WITO Boresha Maisha, we are excited to take these learnings forward and continue championing programs that enhance wellbeing, resilience, and opportunity for the communities we serve.
