It is very common to generalize persons with disability. This limits realization of human rights including the right to healthcare . We are humbled to have served persons with intellectual disability having been visited by Kenya Association of the Intellectually Handicapped (KAIH) in our activity
Some of the recommendations from our engagement include;
1. The need to have laws on SGBV that protects persons with intellectual disability.
2. Stakeholders should ensure that social facilities like hospitals and police stations are disability friendly. Their should be investments in trainings and infrastructure to support persons with diverse disability access services.
2. We all have role in making the world a better place.
We also had an concurrent community engagement forum where through our community health volunteers, youth advocates and youth peer providers we provided reproductive health information to communities around Fedha, Kwa Ndege.

Health financing is key in the realization of universal healthcare coverage.

As we mark the end of Women History Month, we will be offering healthcare services at our facility for only Ksh 200 bob. If you are around Embakasi and it's environs, visit us on 31st from 8:00a.m to 6:00p.m.

The KDHIS 2022 statistics indicate that only one in four Kenyans have an insurance cover of any kind. These statistics highlights inequalities in healthcare access. Today, recognizing the current economic crisis, we subsidized our healthcare services to the level of mwananchi. For only Ksh 200 communities were provided with healthcare services of their choice. We also had free professional Counselling Session and a dialogue session.
We are happy to be partnering with Trigerise ITH program in Kenya to ensure Adolescents have access to quality SRHR information and services. Did you know that cancer is the third leading cause of deaths in Kenya? As we mark World Cancer day which is commemorated every 4th February, we continue to provide equitable cancer prevention methods such as the Human papilloma virus(HPV) vaccination to girls below age 14, routine cervical cancer screening for women and girls, condoms and health information.
