In alignment with our sustainability objectives, we continue to support smallholder farmers by purchasing macadamia nuts during both peak and off-season periods. This approach not only provides farmers with a reliable source of income year-round but also encourages the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices within our supply network.

Are your mango trees starting to flower? Here are some natural, effective methods to help your mango plants thrive and keep those blossoms healthy:
𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:
Gently smoking your mango trees helps keep away pests like whiteflies that attack flowers, ensuring better fruit set.
𝗣𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴:
Regular pruning boosts air circulation and allows optimal sunlight to reach all parts of the tree, promoting overall tree health and more abundant flowering.
𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:

We are encouraging our farmers to care for their mango trees during the crucial pruning and flowering stage using organic methods, guided by our LIMBUA field agronomists.

Mangoes offer a perfect blend of flavour and nutrition, and we remain committed to supporting our smallholder farmers to grow more for all of us to enjoy.

Every nut at LIMBUA takes a careful journey, all happening in our processing facilities. Here's how we do it:

💨 Drying: Before cracking, the nuts are gently air-dried to reduce moisture.

🔨Cracking: The macadamias are carefully cracked to separate the delicate kernels from their hard shells.

🔍Sorting: The freshly cracked kernels are hand-sorted by our skilled team to ensure only the best quality.

🔬Testing: Every batch is checked for quality and moisture.

📦Packing: Once approved, the nuts are packed in food-safe packaging ready for the world.

🌿Sustainability First: The process runs on renewable energy and follows zero-waste policies.

And the best part? It’s all done by our local team — providing jobs, empowering communities, and supporting our farmers every step of the way. So when you sell your products to us, remember: they’re more than just a snack — they’re a story of quality, care, and impact.

As part of its commitment to the local community, LIMBUA supports the LIMBUA Football Club — one of the most promising teams in the Mt. Kenya region. Comprising employees and young farmers, the team exhibits great passion and a strong drive to become one of Kenya’s top clubs.

In the ongoing Central Regional League, they’ve achieved an impressive six-match winning streak, showcasing their growing skill and determination. The club offers players a platform to develop both personally and professionally.

With ongoing support from the company, they aim to finish the season strong and move up to the next league. The team, through their patron, thanked LIMBUA for the support that has helped them progress.
