Restore African SOULS Centre

Restore African SOULS Centre IS AN ORGANIZATION PROMOTING THE FIGHT AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND THE SPREAD OF HIV/AIDS AMONG DRUG USERS IN KENYA.

THIS IS A CENTRE FOR EMPOWERMENT, SUPPORT AND REHABILITATION OF HIV/AIDS PERSONS AND DRUG ADDICTS. IT FOCUSES ON EMPOWERING, SUPPORTING AND REHABILITATING THE HIV INFECTED, THE DRUG USERS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSERS THOSE WHO ARE BOTH INFECTED AND ABUSE DRUGS. THROUGH EMPOWERMENT, SUPPORT AND REHABILITATION THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION IS EXPECTED TO HAVE A POSITIVE EFFECT ON THE COMMUNITY WHEREBY LESS

PEOPLE ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH WHO INDULGE IN DRUGS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE AS THEY WILL BE AWARE OF THE RISKS AND EFFECTS POSED ON ONE’S HEALTH. THERE WILL BE LESS PEOPLE BEING INFECTED AND RE-INFECTED WITH HIV IN THE COMMUNITY, THOSE INFECTED WILL LIVE POSITIVELY AND RESPONSIBLY ALSO THEY WILL BE ENLIGHTENED ON VARIOUS WAYS OF MAKING A LIVELIHOOD, THUS THE FEELING OF BEING IN CONTROL OF ONE’S SELF AND BASIC NEEDS. LET’S JOIN HANDS IN BRINGING OUR BROTHERS OUT OF THEIR BONDAGE CHAINS.

With the current state of affairs in the country where there are no jobs, Sexual trade, Migration, Polygamy, and teenage marriages are seen to be on the rise, they may impact positively to spread of HIV/AIDS.

Global readers and citizens are reaching out to people infected or affected with messages of hope reminding them that the awareness campaign has to start from the community.
