Following a very thoughtful reflection and the wise counsel of our esteemed elders, we would like to sincerely extend our heartfelt apologies to our brothers at Madina Hospital for any distress or harm caused by our actions, whether intentional or unintentional for any issues .

Rooted in the teachings of our faith, which emphasizes compassion and forgiveness, we have sincerely forgiven any past grievances.

It’s against this backdrop that we humbly ask our brothers at Madina Hospital to accept this public apology with open hearts and, in the same spirit of reconciliation, extend their forgiveness to us.

We are pleased to share that the concerns raised are now being thoughtfully addressed through discussions facilitated by our respected community elders, who have graciously stepped in to mediate.

We offer our sincere apologies to anyone affected by any subsequent actions, reactions, or rushed decisions made without consulting our respected community elders and Culumaas.

We want to clarify that our stance is solely focused on seeking what is rightfully ours, and we hold no grievances beyond this matter.

We have full confidence in the wisdom and fairness of our elders and are committed to respecting their guidance throughout this process. Our priority remains serving our community with integrity and care.

ALJEZEERA HOSPITAL TO HOST A 2 DAY CARDIAC CAMP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NAIROBI WEST HOSPITAL ON SATURDAY &SUNDAY, 3rd &4TH ,2024.

SULTAN DEQOW AND OTHER ESTEEMED ELDERS GRACED THE RE-OPENING OF ALJEZEERA HOSPITAL :

Prominent Elders led by " Authaq Boqor" Sultan Dekow Sambul recently graced the reopening of Aljezeera Hospital in a colourful event in Garissa where they shared their wisdom in abundance regarding the importance of peace and harmony amongst our people and how it's pressence in any setting fosters an enabling environment for any business to thrive.

Sultan Dekow Muhumed Sambul is the former leader of the now defunct Northern Frontier District Liberation Front (NFDLF). An historical outfit that fought for the unity and Liberation of the somali people (during pre and post independence).

His fight for self-determination was in par with what any other African leader strived to
achieve at that time when the entire African continent with the exception of Ethiopia was under direct European colonial rule.

He was famously known to be on the forefront of the movement as its leader for a combined fifty-years of struggle against British colonialism and against independent Kenya.

In his own words , Sultan deqow says that " Garissa Town was established when i was just 6 years old". His recollection of events and his passionate call for unity at the age of 87 is quite impeccable.

During their honourable visit , the elders also made dua's for the proprietor of our facility and commended him for his admirable patience , his honesty from the beginning aswell as his firm belief in Allah and the day of judgement.
A quality that was greatly appreciated by Sultan Deqow.

The importance of Dua in islam has been emphasised enough through the teachings of our deen. By turning to Allah we are affirming that He alone has the power to grant or deny our wishes, desires, hopes and ambitions.

The fact that esteemed elders who are all over the age of 80 years decided to go out of their comfort zone at their sunset years and visit our facility with the sole purpose of making dua cannot be understated.

Qur’an states: “Your Lord says, ‘Call on Me and I will answer you’.” (Surah Ghafir Qur’an 40:60)

Sultan Deqow Sambul was also also greatly impressed with the facility and it's state of the art modern structure/features and quality healthcare services on offer.

We wish to once again appreciate the presence of our distinguished elders and also our loyal clients who made their presence known immediately our front doors were opened.

COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL

In the spirit of giving back to our Community; our team from Aljezeera Hospital continued to visit High school students in Garissa with the aim of giving them enough motivation to dream big and shun away from negative behaviors and substance abuse which Is becoming more prevalent amongst our vibrant youths leading to them making terrible decisions which subsequently comes with it's negative repercussions.

Mr Wambugu Wa Kamau , a prominent Motivational speaker and an author, challenged the students of County High School to put emphasis on goal setting and and most importantly becoming FOCUSSED at all times, avoid getting carried away by peer pressure and other negative influences that can lead them to making costly decisions in hindsight and ruin their once bright career prospects.

It was an interactive session and quite insightful for many including but not limited to even the teachers et Al.

Many thanks to the Principal of County high School, the Deputy Principal and everyone else who made our visit lively , engaging and quite enjoyable .

As we also earlier on promised the other various schools that we visited ; we will soon also host career days for all form four Candidates in the not so distant future Insha Allah.

ALJEZEERA MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN GARISSA .

2. GARISSA HIGH SCHOOL

In our quest to execute our corporate social responsibility ; our team from our facility in collaboration with a motivational speaker , writer , team coach, Wambugu Wa Kamau who came all the way from Nairobi, together with our team of healthcare workers from the Hospital; we paid a visit to Garissa High School which is regarded as one of the most prestigious High School in the whole of North Eastern Province and has produced many dignified professionals across the board.

Our behalf of Aljezeera Hospital Fraternity; We would like to send our sincere appreciations to the Garissa High School management , the Deputy Principal Mr Kamau Karanja ( a seasoned and well respected educationist who has mentored many people who are now distinguished professionals in their respective fields ) .

Mr Kamau emphasized how imperative it is to "give back to the society" , applauded the good work undertaken by Aljezeera Hospital calling the mentorship program a rare opportunity for the high school students in this part of the country , and in his own words " an opportunity for students that can only be found in other parts of Kenya " , he called for the need to emulate the good efforts of Aljezeera by other institutions in our midst.

Motivation and inspiration are important factors in school success. Students need to know why they are learning and feel a passion to absorb and understand life concepts in order to increase their knowledge and use critical thinking when making important life decisions.

MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS FOR HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS IN GARISSA :

1. IFTIN GIRLS HIGHSCHOOL

In a bid to exercise our corporate social responsibility and give back to our community ; we partnered up with Motivational speaker, writer and Team building coach Mr Wambugu Wa Kamau who came all the way from Nairobi and did various mentorship programs for high school students , visited different schools in Garissa Township in the last one week.

The students had the opportunity of interacting with our team from Nairobi trained in healthcare in order to learn the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and also caution them regarding the negative impacts of drug and substance abuse which has seen many go astray and their once shining career prospects go to waste .

Wambugu Wa Kamau , in his motivational talk ; encouraged students from Iftin Girls High School to discover their potential and create a path to a brighter future through goal setting.

We want to convey our sincerest appreciations to the school management and their guiding and counseling department for giving us a cordial welcome and giving our team a magnificent reception.

We promise to bring more programs including hosting career days for form four candidates and other goodies in the near future Insha Allah
