NHIF choice or changing of preferred outpatient facility for the 3rd quarter ends 30th September 2023. Choose AIC Kapsowar Mission Hospital as your preferred outpatient facility for adequate NHIF coverage however for inpatient you are not obligated to have selected the hospital for coverage. Congratulations bill.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 #𝟱

Dr. Bill Rhodes will be speaking at our Prescription for Renewal Medical Missions Conference. Bill is a board certified physician in general surgery and in plastic/reconstructive surgery. He has worked at Kapsowar Mission Hospital in Kenya for 25 years. Bill and his wife Laura also travel throughout Sub-Saharan Africa performing surgery in difficult-to-access and low resource facilities.

In addition, Bill is currently working on his PhD in Hebrew Old Testament through distance learning at the University of Edinburgh. Laura and Bill have been married 49 years and have four married children and 10 grandchildren.

With sadness and heavy hearts Kapsowar Mission Hospital Fraternity Is grieving the passing on of our pastor and missionary Emmy Kiprop that occurred on 11th July 2023 in the evening after a short illness. Missionary Emmy was serving in chaplaincy department and also as a coordinator of community health program since January 2018 when she joined us. It has been a difficult time for all of us as we struggle to come to terms with this hard reality. We take this time to pass our sincere condolences to family, friends, relatives, brethren, all members of staff and all those who knew her following this sudden and tragic demise. She was a dedicated worker, pastor and friend of many. The hospital community, the church and entire community has lost a hero of faith who was passionate with mission. May the Lord of all comfort grant us strength and peace during this difficult time. May you be an encouragement to one another. She fought a good fight to the end and kept her faith. Rest in blossom of Abraham, servant of God. There’s no safest place than resting in the hands of God. We will miss her!
