In this one moment all else ceases to exist. Its just you and the patient, and the surgery being done. All is calm. All is perfect.
As an orthopedic surgeon I've always enjoyed doing what I do. Helping people walk, run again. It is my passion and first love.
When we cant walk or move a certain level of dignity is stripped from us. We aren't whole.
I'm humbled to be able to be able to help my patients. I could do this for a lifetime. I thank God for the opportunity to try and make a difference.
