Eternal rest grant unto her O'Lord and may your perpetual light shine upon her soul.

May her soul and souls of all faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Those who may wonder, sickle cell disease is not a new disease. It has been around for ages. As scientists we think its cure will have to be genetically engineered.

On Saturday morning, Elizabeth Merab breathed her last after battling complications stemming from sickle cell disease.
