Nobody gets angrier than a guy who's hiding something.

If you ask a simple question and they get mad it's not because you accused the guy, it's because you caught them. A person with something to hide will always turn your question into a fight.

A guy with nothing to hide won't mind being asked.

Alan Kinyua part 3

Alone and devastated in a foreign country, Kanyi stopped attending classes. The dream he had chased so desperately had turned into a nightmare. Instead, he turned to content creation, hoping to raise money to return home before his visa expires. He now uses his voice to warn others about rogue agencies and fake scholarships.

Unfortunately, Kanyi has still not received justice. The Jingzhou Police Headquarters in Hubei Province, China, have asked him to record a statement. There is hope that those involved in China will face prosecution.

But for now, Kanyi remains far from home, carrying the weight of betrayal, frustration, and a dream that was stolen from him.

Allan Kanyi Part 2
Everyone was proud of him. The agent even attended with her family to bid him goodbye. She promised that her partners in China would receive him at Shashi International Airport.

But when he landed in China, no one came.

He waited at the airport, confused and anxious. His calls were not answered. With no choice, he sought help from airport officers. He took a cab from Shashi Airport to the entrance of Yangtze University and arrived at around 8 pm. There, he met a Nigerian man named Charles, the point man of the scholarship agency, who offered to help him. Charles took him to some abandoned dormitories.

He says the dormitory lacked basic facilities. It felt empty, neglected, and unwelcoming. After a week of trying to adjust to his new reality, Charles took him to the International Students Office and introduced him to another man, James Mwiya, who claimed to be a staff member.

Through James, Kanyi was registered and allocated classes. For a moment, he felt some relief. Maybe things were finally working out.

But in late December, after one month of attending classes, his world collapsed again. He saw his name on a list of students with fee arrears. He was shocked. He went to the office to ask how a scholarship student could owe fees. That is when he was told the painful truth , he was not under any scholarship.

He had been scammed 😟.

His heart sank. The promises, the celebrations, the sacrifices — all of it had been built on lies.

He tried calling Divine, the agent in Nairobi. By then, she had disappeared. She was offline and unreachable. His messages were ignored and calls went unanswered. The KSh 400,000 was gone. His excitement was gone. His trust was gone.

With no other option, Kanyi called home. His family was heartbroken, but they did not have enough money to buy him a return ticket. They reported the matter to the DCI Nairobi Division in Milimani. Up to now, there has been no justice and no refund.

Allan Kanyi part 1

In May 2025, Allan Kanyi, a comrade at Karatina University, came across a scholarship agency located at View Park Towers in Nairobi CBD. The agency, under Devine Ishimwe, promised to connect Kenyan students to universities in China through fully funded scholarships. They said the package included medical insurance, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of KSh 54,000. It sounded like a dream.

Kanyi was desperate to change his life. He wanted a better future, and this felt like his chance. The agency assured him that their commission would only be paid after he received his visa and admission letter. The total cost was KSh 600,000 — KSh 400,000 as the agency fee and KSh 200,000 for university application fees and flight. He decided to take the risk. He applied to three universities, hoping at least one would accept him.

To prepare him, the agency asked him to take a six-month Chinese language course at his own cost, so that he could fit in. He agreed without hesitation. In July 2025, he received an admission letter from Nantong University in South China. He was overjoyed. Immediately, he paid the agent KSh 400,000 as agreed, believing everything was finally falling into place. He trusted that the agency would now handle the remaining fees as promised.

Just before he applied for his visa, the agent Miss Ishimwe asked him to wait. She claimed she had found a university with a “better offer” and was waiting for visa documents. Then she slowly went silent. She stopped picking calls and was rarely online. Days turned into weeks. Because of this delay, Kanyi missed the September intake at Nantong University. His first opportunity slipped away while he waited helplessly.

In early October, the agent resurfaced with another admission letter, this time from Yangtze University. The admission had already been for September, but she said there was an extension. Kanyi held on to hope. A few weeks later, his family organized a farewell party. To be continued

On Tuesday’s episode of "The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast," Prewett spoke candidly about the internal struggles she began facing in middle school after publicly presenting herself as someone waiting until marriage, while privately grappling with po*******hy use and ma********on.
"Around 13, 14, I got introduced to po*******hy at a young age by a friend. That started a long journey and battle for me with p**n and ma********on. That created a lot of shame and secrecy in my life. I lived my life very much in this: ‘I’m saving myself for marriage, I have my virgin card, I’m following God,’" Prewett began.
"And on the outside it looked like everything was fine, but behind closed doors I was living this double life of living in constant secret sin, secret sexual sin, and not confessing it to anybody, which only led to more sin and more shame, and it felt like this never-ending cycle that I didn’t know how to get out of," she continued.
Prewett told Candice Cameron Bure that she lived in secret sin her entire middle and high school years, but was able to open up about her struggles once she went to college.
"I finally was able to break free from that addiction and that cycle. I think a lot of times we think with our sin, that if we confess it or if we finally tell someone about it, they will judge us, people will think we’re gross, they will think we are a bad Christian. If we say that, maybe they won’t want to be my friend anymore," the 29-year-old admitted.
Prewett shared that for her, confessing her sin allowed herself to feel "lighter" and immediate relief. To this day, the reality TV alum doesn't allow herself to keep her sin bottled up and encourages others to "just confess" what they've been struggling with.
"What you’ll notice is that most of the time when you share that secret sin or that shameful thing — that maybe you didn’t even do, maybe it was done to you, and it’s been holding you back for so long — and you finally confess that to somebody, you know whether it’s a p**n addiction or an abortion or something that someone took advantage of you," she began.
Prewett continued, "I think a lot of times it’s equated to sexuality — not always but a lot of times — and confessing that thing immediately, you feel this relief and you feel this freedom. That was really what that journey was like for me. Even to this day, having moments of shame popping back up, immediately just confess it and get it into the light and share it with a friend."
In June, Prewett first revealed her previous ma********on and p**n addiction on the "Stay True" podcast.
"Thankfully, by the grace of God and by the power of godly community and people around me, I have been free from p**n and ma********on for — I don’t even know — 10 years," Prewett said at the time.
"But that was something that enslaved me and marked me for so long. … No matter how much I loved Jesus, I could not shake that sin. I could not break free from p**n and ma********on."
Prewett rose to fame as runner-up on Peter Weber's season of "The Bachelor" in 2020. In July 2022, Prewett married pastor Grant Troutt. The couple welcomed their daughter Hosanna in Jan. 2025.

Title: Left Church& not God

The today's trend of "I didn't leave God but I left church" should be call of reflection to all church leaders.

Why? Many people feel they are being used by the religious community by offering their money, time and talent yet when they need the church,it's silent.

When members are sick, they lack care from pastors and church leadership. When members came with their issues to the leaders, you hear their problems being discussed by other members.

Members are talked at, dressed down at the slightest mistake.

People can see that pulpit Leaders have a turned holy altar into market place.

Young people are angst with insincerity and are leaving church in droves.

Single ladies are viewed with suspicion when they are seen with a married man. Heartless words are spoken to them like;"Thank God you are single, many married are seeking put of marriage". It hurts them till they leave.

When leaders are asked questions they have sharp tongues for cursing and thus people run away.

People are leaving because emotional care is absent in religious circles.

Today's religious services are a motivational talk for people to give and give without anyone asking, "how are you fairing?"

Those who have access to pastors are the rich while the poor ones are pushed aside.

The bottom line: Emotional Hurt and Wound

Leaders of pulpit should work to connect with the members.

Heaven is mourning of what the church has become. Instead of leading people to Jesus, pulpits are turning them away to darkness.

Church should be a home of peace, joy and hope. Many pulpit Leaders have turned the church into sorrowful, hopelessness and thievery.

As a man of God, if you see people Leave your congregation, do introspection rather than talk down on them.

Title:If they show you who they are believe them

When you friend(s) show you who they are, please don't doubt them. You may love them with all your heart but act badly towards in separate occasions. Quit considering that because it's the friend you love;he or she can badmouth you or even despise you in their hearts.

I have a cousin we used to supply me with romantic novels early 2000's and after reading from James Bond,David Baldacci and Sidney Sheldon we concluded that scientists are half knowledgeable as they haven't innovated a "love meter" that can measure the matters of the heart.

If your friend bad mouthed you, believe it. If your friends left you when you had challenges believe them. If your friend sabotaged a deal or a relationship believe they did.

Stop the statement,"I can't believe this." Quit excusing them as of you are their defense attorney.

This message is to anyone out there trying to put a one sided relationship. The only relationship you should try fixing is only your marriage if it shows wreckage is marriage. That's why we have a book for you to elucidate how to reconnect, revamp, rebuild as well as build a strong marriage.

Book your copy this love month.
