We keep forgetting that animals are not here for us – they’re here with us. What we do to them, we ultimately do to ourselves. The way turkeys (and other animals) are treated is not just heartbreaking – it’s a mirror of our moral failure. I truly believe nature finds its balance. The diseases, the rising allergies, the cancers, even pandemics... maybe it's all part of that silent revenge. A body soaked in suffering can never nourish a soul. It's time we wake up.

I thought I was on the safe side.
As an organic grower and foodie, I pay attention to what I eat and put on my skin. But guess what? I’ve used tampons my whole life—until I discovered period cups—and never questioned what’s in them.

Then I came across this report:
👉 Blood, Sweat and Pesticides
-https://issuu.com/pan-uk/docs/blood_sweat_and_pesticides_a_closer_look_at_toxi?fr=sNTBiNzY2Njk3ODY

Turns out many tampons contain glyphosate—yes, that pesticide linked to cancer.
I asked myself: Are we growing weeds down there or what?! 🤷🏽‍♀️

But here’s the thing:
🌱 If the product says “made from natural cotton,” and that cotton wasn’t grown organically, there’s a high chance it was treated with harmful chemicals.
It’s not just about what the product is, but how it was grown.

Let’s start thinking twice about what we put in, on, and near our bodies.
Organic matters. Even when it comes to things we rarely talk about.

My first brown sourdough bread, with freshly milled wheat in various grain sizes and whole wheat grains. World-class—you can't buy it anywhere in Kenya.

As a German I want to eat real bread and not this white sponge, without nutritions. Sourdough bread is easier to digest and due to its long resting time also no problem for people who think they have issues with gluten.

We are promoting organic food farming in our county because there is no good health without food safety. One of our reasons to support organic farming is its positive impact on health of the people and the environment. As we tap into the market, we want to ensure our farm produces are safe from harmful chemical residues.- Anne Waiguru

🌿 Buchinger Fasting – The First Steps 🌿

The journey has begun! We are now in our third week, but let’s rewind to the first few days, where the real transformation started.

🔥 Days 1-3: Adaptation Phase (Switching to Ketosis) 🔥
🥶 Day 1 – The body starts using up stored glycogen. Some people feel light-headed or hungry, but we felt surprisingly good.
⚡ Day 2 – The real shift begins! Fat burning kicks in, but detox symptoms appear. Paul had heavy eye detox for a day—his body’s way of cleansing.
💪 Day 3 – Full ketosis! Energy levels balance out, and hunger fades. The body is now fueling itself from within.

🍵 What’s in the bowl? A simple yet powerful detox broth—warm, nourishing, and perfect for supporting the body through fasting.

Day 1 of 21 – Therapeutic Fasting ✨

We’ve officially started our 21-day Buchinger fasting journey, meaning no solid food at all—only liquids.

Since Saturday, we’ve been slowing down our food intake to ease into the process. Today, we fully transitioned into fasting, beginning with a gut cleanse using Epsom salt and an e***a.

For our afternoon tea, we’re enjoying a simple, healing mix of lemongrass from our garden and fresh ginger. For a gentle energy boost, 30-40g of honey per day is allowed. In the evening, we’ll have broth to replenish essential minerals.

Fasting is not just about giving up food—it’s about deep healing, resetting the body, and embracing a lighter, more mindful state.
