New Case uploaded on opeXpark: Choroid plexus papilloma in the fourth ventricle
PREOPERATIVE INFORMATION
The patient is a female in her late fifties complaining of progressive headache and gait disturbance.
She was transferred to our department from a local clinic, at which MR imaging demonstrated a large tumor in the fourth ventricle with perineural edema at the brainstem. Obstructive hydrocephalus is evident as well. Our preoperative diagnosis was ependymoma.
