Today, 9 Feb 2026, we had the opportunity to meet with Madam Liz Kabuage, a remarkable advocate and author who introduced her first book on raising children with Down syndrome. As a parent of a child with Down syndrome, this milestone contributes to building a more compassionate and supportive world for all. We also had the pleasure of engaging with Elizabeth as a cancer activist, who continues to raise community awareness on cancer and the importance of early detection. As a hospital, we look forward to working closely with her to better serve our community through improved cancer care and effective treatment.

It is with deep sorrow that Khairat Hospital mourns the loss of our colleague and staff member, Rodgers Kimutai, from the Radiology Department, who passed away following a tragic accident.

Rodgers was a dedicated professional whose commitment to service, kindness, and teamwork left a lasting impact on our institution and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. His contribution to patient care and the Khairat Hospital family will never be forgotten.
