Huldah Momanyi (Representative-Elect, U.S. House of Representatives), who joined us in a meaningful visit to assess and support the KEMSE Foundation — our esteemed initiative dedicated to delivering free medical services to elders aged 65 and above.

From the moment she stepped through our doors, Hon. Momanyi’s presence radiated genuine empathy and commitment to uplifting vulnerable populations. Her itinerary included a guided tour of our facility, one-on-one interactions with senior beneficiaries, and a series of strategic conversations with our medical team, hospital leadership, and KEMSE Foundation representatives.

“Older Persons Driving Local and Global Action: Our Aspirations, Our Well-being, Our Rights.”

As part of the event, our medical team provided free health services to older persons, reaffirming our dedication to improving the well-being of our senior citizens. Through Khairat Elderly Medical Support (KEM’S) — our foundation that offers free healthcare services for those aged 65 years and above — we continue to walk alongside our elders in ensuring they live healthier, dignified lives.

The occasion was graced by H.E. Flora Mbetsa Chibule, Deputy Governor of Kilifi County, who emphasized the value of protecting the rights and dignity of older persons; Dr. Ruth Dama Masha, CECM for Gender, Social Services & Sports, who highlighted the role of inclusivity and empowerment; alongside distinguished representatives from both National and County Governments, as well as Civil Society Organisations.
