Lamu Island, located on the Kenyan coast, hosts a wonderful annual yoga festival that I had the privilege of attending this year. So many inspiring teachers from different lineages, historic venues, participants from across Kenya and the world - such an inspiring experience to draw from for coming classes and events!

I had a wonderful time leading a yoga class at the 2019 Iron Savannah, organized by the Xavier Project in support of education for refugee children. Wonderful people, beautiful setting in Maili Tisa near the Tanzanian border, blue skies - what more could you wish for! I'm grateful for the opportunity and hope the practice spurred on the runners the following day!
