Today, Prime Care Centre held the Senior Directorโ€™s meeting. During the meeting, the Senior Director, Dr. Ngigi, OGW, emphasized on the newly signed Strategic Plan 2026-2030 and its planned roll-out.

He highlighted the key strategic themes: Clinical Outcomes, Operational Efficiency and Business Growth and underscored the critical role each team member plays in ensuring its successful implementation.

Dr. Ngigi also extended a warm welcome to the new nursing team, including Ms. Ruth Nyansikera (Manager, Nursing & Clinical Services), Ms. Susan Nkonge (Manager, 9A Paediatrics), Ms. Angeline Msee (Manager, Wellness Unit), Ms. Jael Ochieng (Manager, CCU) and Ms. Simoneta Francis (Manager, Nursing Services), among others who were not present.

โ€œWe aim to rebrand as Prime Care Centre and live up to our vision of becoming the premier healthcare hub on the continent,โ€ said Dr. Ngigi.

Prime Care Centre was proud to participate as a sponsor in kind at the inaugural KEBS Quality Golf & Run Medical Outreach held on Saturday, 21st March 2026 at Limuru Country Club.

The event brought together senior industry leaders, decision-makers, running clubs, and participants from across the country; creating a strong platform to promote health and wellness.

We were also honoured to serve Esther Ngare, EBS, Managing Director of KEBS, who visited our tent and received care.

The outreach was a great success, strengthening connections with key stakeholders while delivering meaningful community health services.

After 37 remarkable years of compassionate service at the New Born Unit (NBU), we celebrated the retirement of Nurse Domitila Mwagodi with a heartfelt surprise farewell organized by her close family & colleagues. ๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ

For nearly four decades, Mwagodi dedicated her life to caring for our tiniest & most fragile patients, tenderly nurturing countless preterm angels while supporting their families with unwavering compassion.

Deeply touched, she expressed her gratitude to everyone who walked the journey with her over the years.

Earlier today, we marked under the theme: โ€œKidney Health for All-Caring for People, Protecting the Environment.โ€

The key message was the importance of taking care of your kidneys through regular health check ups, eating a balanced diet, hydrating and exercising.

Cabinet Secretary for Health Hon. Aden Duale highlighted the significance of kidney health in overall wellbeing.

โ€œTo protect the kidney is to protect life itself,โ€ he said, noting that chronic kidney disease has emerged as a silent but formidable public health challenge.
