They say Valentine’s is for roses, cute dates, and sweet messages…
But some people will be spending it with drips, injections, and hospital meals
So this season, UUSNA is choosing a deeper kind of love — the kind that shows up when someone is unwell, tired, scared, or fighting through illness.
Because real love isn’t only “I miss you”…
Sometimes it’s:
“How are you feeling today?”
“I’m here for you.”
“You will get through this.”
This Valentine’s, let’s remember patients in wards, those on treatment, and everyone silently struggling.
A small act of kindness can do what chocolates can’t:
it can restore hope.
