Partnerships, Collaboration & Collective Strength
UUSNA Cabinet had a highly insightful engagement with KESNNUR leadership and the NNAK Kisumu County Chairperson ,Madam Emily.
It strongly highlighted the value of unity and teamwork in achieving common goals. It was clearly noted that collective effort is far more impactful than individual contributions. Through strategic partnerships and collaborations with professional bodies such as KESNNUR and NNAK, UUSNA aims to strengthen its structure, expand opportunities for members, and foster a spirit of togetherness within the nursing fraternity.

Community Impact Through Kidney Screening
Second year Nursing Students were honored to take part in a Kidney Screening Partnership at Synergy Hospital, Kisumu, supporting efforts to improve community health.
One important observation was that many people are not aware of kidney disorders and their risk factors, and most rarely go for health check-ups. Many individuals are also living with hypertension and high blood sugar without knowing, conditions that can silently affect kidney function.
Kidneys play a vital role in removing waste, balancing fluids, and regulating blood pressure.
Let’s protect them by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and going for regular check-ups.
Prevention and awareness can save lives.
