The streets are a dangerous place for children, especially in Nakuru, where jet fuel is the drug of choice. But a loving hand reaching out in the power of Jesus can bring anyone out from the darkness. Jesus saves. Period. 🙌 We see it all the time!

The picture above is a serious village discussion. The question? What can we do since people are dying or very sick with cholera?

This village is located in Kwale County, Kenya. Drought has been going on here for more than a year. Many people are getting water where ever they can find it.

We have trained personnel in the region. We have rush funds to begin supplying families a way to treat water with biosand water filters. The users will be learn to build the filters and begin using them. These filters do an amazing job to clearing water of virus and bacteria.

Since the situation is so bad here, we have sent funds for porridge to feed children.

We need your help to help as many as we can. We always hear of the millions suffering drought. In this care we can see each person face to face.

The picture I have posted is not that uncommon. This is a water pipeline to many homes in East Africa. It brings to mind that we talk and write a lot about contaminated water, hygiene, and sanitation. But, not about the people that must carry each
container.
The picture I have posted is not that uncommon. This is the water pipeline to many homes in East Africa. It brings to mind that we talk and write a lot about contaminated water, hygiene, and sanitation. The study finds 13% of the women and girls carrying water have been injured in many ways. Injury comes in many forms. Each jerry can full of water will weigh 40 pounds. Injuries come from animal attaches, traffic accidents, fights, and personal injury, spinal, broken bones, lacerations, and more.

Each one of those containers has a story. We are doing what we can to make this a better story. It all takes much prayer.

Thank you all for your support of the project we have funded to make hand sanitizer at Kusumu, Kenya. I insisted the product be of the highest quality and Kenya Bureau of Standards approved before it could be placed on the market.

Caution has paid off. The ladies community based organization is now filling orders of hand sanitizer to schools.

This week had a special day, "World Hand Washing Day". There are many schools without water. The hand sanitizer helps a great deal.
