The mission of InFocus-Pure Water is to improve the health conditions of countries with few resourses. Our means of accomplishing this goal is by training local community self-help groups and churches of hygeine, sanitation, the building of biosand water filters, and development of sustaining businesses. Each group we train is supplied with manuals, tools, and materials suficient to capitalize their business. We have been implementing this business plan in Kenya for nine years. Nearly 5,000 families, schools, and orphanages are now free of diahrrea, typhoid, cholera, worms, and an on going list of waterborne illnesses. All this is done for under $70 per household, by using the biosand water filters. The nice part they serving a family for more than 20 years. We would like you to joint us in this effort.
