We focus in Non Communicable Diseases in prevention, Diagnosis and Management. Our Nursing Home provides a level of care to the acute and critically sick between General Wards and Intensive Care Units. It’s a High Dependency Unit for people who need more intensive observation, treatment and nursing care than is possible in a general ward but slightly less than that given in intensive care units. Acute care and critical care differ in the types of patients and situations catered to. We focus on providing treatment for life-threatening injuries that require long-term stays in hospital. Our units seek to treat and care for patients with spinal cord damage, Orthopaedic cases, heart conditions, Kidney Failure, respiratory ailure, organ failure, severe infections and life-threatening diseases or illnesses. Depending on the situation, some patients may stay in critical care units for longer duration to receive the recovery treatments they need to get better. Our Stroke and Rehabilitation services focus on supporting people affected by injury, illness or disability to get on recovery path through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education. Our physiotherapists work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs or to restore their functions by offering physical therapy exercises, developing fitness and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles, providing services to individuals and populations to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout the lifespan. We offer cancer treatment to the patients diagnosed of cancer. We also offer specialized medical care for people who are terminally ill, debilitating illnesses or facing problems associated with life threatening illnesses. The care focuses on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness and maximize quality of life for both the patient and the family and to provide patients with relief from symptoms, pain, physical stress and mental stress
It involves the creation and implementation of a care plan with input from a number of health professionals e.g. oncologist, physicians, nurses, physiotherapist and occupational physiotherapist.
