This weekend, we are heading to the banks of River Wigwa for a walk that’s more than a stroll but a celebration of nature, culture and community.

We’ll delved into spotting hidden biodiversity gems, thought-provoking discussions on water & culture film screening opening our eyes to the beauty and importance of our waterways.

Join the Home River Bio Bitz movement to celebrate, document and understand our river’s biodiversity.

Note: Carry your audio recorder, camera, binoculars or magnifying glasses including snacks/drinking water. Dress suitably for a river walk and bring a friend.

Manyatta came alive with colour, music and actionšŸŽŠ.

The Fagia Kwako Fiesta brought together community members, partners and learners for a vibrant day of action and creativity at Obinju Primary School.

This was not just an event but a collective movement towards reclaiming our environment and heritage. Fabric waste was reborn into bold bags and accessories on the runway and the stage lit up with art, music and storytelling.

Beyond the clean up, performances and fashion runway was a deeper truth that everyday choices can shape cleaner villages, thriving communities and a healthier Lake Victoria. It showed us that when we come together, we can turn threats into opportunities.

Huge appreciation to our amazing partners and everyone who came tbrough to chamlion sustainability with us.

Today, NAAM Festival team had the joy of visiting and Shauri Moyo Primary School.

Through this courtesy visit, we explored exciting ways of collaboration with them on how learners can be part of our creative programs, innovation, and sustainability journey.

As we build momentum toward our 10-year anniversary festival, we’re thrilled to see young minds gearing up for the Kids’ Innovation ExhibitionsšŸš€. The future is bright when children are part of shaping it!

We also extended a warm invitation for the schools to join us at our community showcases Fagia Kwako Fiesta and Nyatiti Mora which you are also invited to.

See you therešŸŽ‰.
