History made at Star Specialist Hospital!

Our newly launched Maxillofacial Clinic has successfully performed the first-ever Panfacial ORIF in Kilifi County - a proud milestone for our hospital, our team and the community. 🏆

To our community, what’s Panfacial ORIF?
It’s a highly complex surgery to repair multiple broken bones of the face after severe trauma. Using delicate plates and screws, surgeons restore proper function and appearance, helping patients recover fully after major accidents.

✨ This achievement was made possible by the exceptional expertise of Dr. Rollins Makokha, Maxillofacial Consultant, who performed the surgery, assisted by Dr. Abubakar Seif and the vision of our Director Dr. Ahmed Nurein, who facilitated the establishment of this advanced service at Star Specialist Hospital.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to the entire theatre team for their dedication and professionalism in ensuring a successful surgery

This is just the beginning. Our ambition is clear: to serve the entire North Coast of Kenya with world-class maxillofacial care, right here at home.

Open Positions:

• Pharmaceutical Technologists (3 positions)

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution
• Valid registration and licensure with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, stock control, and prescription handling
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
