Keratoconus is an eye condition where the normally round, dome-shaped cornea (the clear front surface of the eye) gradually thins and bulges outward into a cone shape. This irregular shape prevents light from being focused correctly onto the retina, leading to distorted and blurry vision.

Key Features:

Progressive condition – usually starts in the teens or early 20s and can worsen over time.

Symptoms may include:

Causes:

CATARACT
A cataract develops when the lens in the eye, which is normally clear becomes foggy.
For the eyes to see, light passes through a clear lens.The len is behind the iris (coloured part of the eye). The lens focuses the light so that the brain 🧠 and the eye 👁️ can work together to process information into a picture.
When a cataract clouds over the lens, the eye can't focus light in the same way. this leads to blurry vision or other vision loss ( trouble seeing).
your vision change depends on the cataract location and size .
CAUSES
Some things can spend up the formation of cataract such as
✓ Radiation treatment of the upper body
✓Eye surgery or eye injury
✓spending a lot of time in the sun 🌞 without sun glasses
✓Smoking
