Our team of 4 Chaplains, are often doing Continuous Education and training in order to serve our patients and staff in the most effective ways.
The team is currently on a one year of training of certified Chaplaincy training, supported by the Samaritan Purse in a program known as THE HEART OF THE CHAPLAIN.

Today, we were blessed to have Joel give a devotional at our regular morning staff chapel. Joel has been preaching the word of God throughout the land for the past quarter century in this region.
Joel also took the opportunity to say 'thank you' to the Maua Methodist Hospital Community for the medical care that he received recently at the hospital when he had a serious illness.
'I am very thankful that Maua Methodist Hospital allows patients to pay their medical Bills in installments when it is a large bill.' Joel said.

In this house which will be completed in the next few weeks, an oxygen plant will be commissioned before the end of this year. This will supply all the oxygen we need for our hospital. There will be a cylinder filling station so that we can supply all other hospitals that need oxygen for medical use.

Our Nurse Hero of the Day

Today as we are CELEBRATING Gladstone Ddaiddo_RN on passing his OSCE Exam and becoming officially a UK_RN

Gladstone is a Registered Professional Nurse from Maua Methodist College of Health Sciences , 2019 Graduating Class.

Brought up in the villages of Tana River county Schooled in Hola primary school, Hola boys sec school and now he has embarked on his Nursing Journey to the UK 🇬🇧 through

When asked what inspired him to commence this Overseas Nursing Journey, this is what he had to say..."Working overseas has always been my dream and seeing people making it always motivated me and thought I could also do it. With hardwork and determination, I also made. Thanks to God."

He has 4 years of experience in Nursing and on when asked what attracted him to the Nursing Profession, this is what he had to say "Nursing is the only profession/ Calling that are continuing with Jesus' work from where he stopped. Helping the sick and the needy is fun and satisfactory. I enjoyed seeing nurses do what they do and so wanted to be one."

This wonderful Nurse has great plans and aspirations for himself and the Nursing profession back in the Kenya and this is what he had to say
" I am already here, in the Oversea and I see myself as a motivating factor to many who are still back home and are working hard to realize their dreams. I will always encourage whoever is working hard not to tire until the goal is achieved."
