It was a great pleasure joining Hon. Omar Mwinyi and Mombasa Women Rep Hon. Zamzam Mohamed for the Changamwe Women Empowerment Forum at Emirates Hall. The forum in partnership with Equity Bank Kenya aimed to empower women in business on matters finances which are key for any successful business undertaking.

She works for a non-profit organization, focusing on preventing teenage pregnancy and GBV in schools and communities. Additionally, she's the founder of the Center for Innovation and Education and leads the WE FOR SHE Movement, a youth-led feminist movement in Mombasa County. She has been implementing a change project with support from Youth Alive! Kenya.
