"I feel empowered. I have learnt so much, thanks to DREAMS project. I hope to help other girls going similar situation to take charge and control of their lives", says Ashley a beneficiary of the DREAMS program.

DREAMS is a USAID Kenya funded initiative that empowers vulnerable adolescent girls and young women to become Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe – (DREAMS) women.

Ashley is part of the more than 15,600 girls who have received financial literacy training to rise out of poverty and become self-reliant as well as make right choices and remain free from HIV. USAID Kenya Mombasa County Government

Scaling quality HIV testing services

Afya Pwani seeks to increase access to and utilization of quality HIV, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH), Reproductive Health/Family Planning (RH/FP), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition services as well as gender and Adolescent Girls, Youth and Young women (AGYW) services to communities living in Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, and Taita Taveta. The project is being implemented by Pathfinder International.
