✨🫀 Understanding Heart Failure — It’s Not What You Think 🫀✨

Heart failure doesn’t mean the heart has stopped working. It means the heart is struggling to pump enough blood to meet the body’s needs. When this happens, the body tries to help by holding on to fluid and making the heartbeat faster — but over time, this actually puts more strain on the heart. The result? Shortness of breath, swelling, fatigue, and a cycle that can slowly worsen if not treated.

❤️ Here’s how the cycle happens:

Damage from conditions like Coronary artery disease, Hypertension, or Myocardial infarction weakens the heart.

⬇️ The heart pumps less blood.
⬇️ The body senses a problem and tries to compensate.
⬇️ It increases heart rate and retains salt and water.
⬇️ Fluid builds up, and the heart works even harder.
⬇️ The heart becomes enlarged and weaker.
⬇️ Symptoms worsen.
🔁 And the cycle continues.
