Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, transitions and adjustments, identity development, parenting skills, and family communication. Stanley describes himself as having a down-to-earth nature, sense of humor, outgoing and personable demeanor. He has an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing various theoretical approaches, behavioral neuroscience, and real life experience to address each client’s individual therapeutic needs. Additionally, Stanley is trained in several evidence-based practices (EBP) to process trauma e.g. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to ensure quality treatment and increase accountability. Other (EBP) models he is fond of using are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Using these EPB models guarantees that clients will only pay for and undergo treatment that have shown to be effective.
