Kenya's First Internationally Accredited Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. PathCare Kenya was founded by Dr. Kiran Radia in November 2002.

It was the first Internationally Accredited Kenyan owned Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in East and Central Africa. It is a professional laboratory, which provides services to clinicians and their patients in collaboration with PathCare South Africa, one of the leading pathology groups. PathCare Kenya is proud to be one of the leading pathology practices operating in Kenya with branches in various parts of the country and in the process of expanding our geographical footprint. PathCare Kenya constantly endeavour to remain abreast of new research and our vision is to remain leaders in the field of diagnostic pathology. PathCare Kenya is run by a highly qualified team of Kenyan professionals composed of pathologists, technologists, data management experts, IT technicians and administrative personnel. In addition to the Kenyan team, PathCare Kenya has access to the expertise of over 70 world class pathologists through its strategic alliance with PathCare South Africa. This alliance provides us with expertise to offer over 4,000 different types of tests and enables our clients here in Kenya to benefit from the knowledge that the world’s best pathologists have to offer. Yesterday, our Kisumu Laboratory team proudly welcomed a delegation from the Rachuonyo Clinical Trial Centre, a newly established research facility based at Rachuonyo County Hospital and operating under Kenyatta National Hospital.

The visiting team, led by Yegon Kibet (Laboratory Manager) and Emily (Site Quality Manager), toured our Kisumu facility and engaged with our quality and operations teams.

They were particularly impressed by the strong quality systems and operational excellence demonstrated by our Kisumu team, led by Hillary Otieno (Lab Manager) and Joyce Maina.

Our Kisumu Laboratory is ISO 15189:2022 certified by KENAS, a reflection of our commitment to accuracy, reliability, and world-class diagnostic standards.
