Many of our reactions, triggers, and emotional patterns are rooted in past experiences especially from childhood. The wounds we carry, the love we lacked, or the environments we grew up in often shape how we respond to life, relationships, and even ourselves.
Tonight, we explore the concept of the inner child, understanding how past experiences influence present behavior, and how healing those parts of ourselves can lead to healthier emotions, better relationships, and personal growth. Healing begins when we become aware, compassionate, and intentional about our journey.

Here is what we learned this Tuesday at M-Wellness ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿค

Self-harm is often misunderstood, yet it is a sign of deep emotional pain, not attention seeking or weakness. This week, we talked about how some people use self-harm as a way to cope with overwhelming feelings like sadness, anger, loneliness, or distress. While it may bring temporary relief, it does not address the root of the pain and can become harmful over time.

We also explored how to recognize the signs and, more importantly, how to respond with empathy, not judgment. Creating safe spaces, listening without criticism, and encouraging professional support can make a huge difference. Healing is possible, and no one deserves to suffer in silence. You are not alone, and your life matters.

Self-harm is often a silent cry for help; a way some people cope with overwhelming emotions, pain, or inner struggles they may not know how to express. Behind it is not attention-seeking, but a need for relief, understanding, and support.

Tonight, we open up this sensitive conversation to create awareness, break stigma, and foster compassion. We explore why self-harm happens, how to recognize the signs, and healthier ways to cope with emotional distress. Most importantly, we emphasize that help is available, healing is possible, and no one has to go through it alone.

Here is what we learned this Tuesday at M-Wellness ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿค

Mental health is often misunderstood, and many people still associate it with being โ€œcrazyโ€ or kuchizi. This week, we challenged that mindset and created awareness around what mental health truly means. It is not about losing your mind, it is about your emotional, psychological, and social well-being, and how you think, feel, and cope with life.

We also talked about breaking the stigma and normalizing conversations around mental health. Feeling sad, anxious, or overwhelmed does not mean something is wrong with you, it means youโ€™re human. Seeking help, opening up, and taking care of your mind is a sign of strength, not weakness. You are not alone, and your mental health matters.

Mental health is often misunderstood, with many people associating it only with extreme conditions or โ€œmadness.โ€ But in reality, mental health is something we all have, just like physical health. It affects how we think, feel, behave, and relate with others in our daily lives.

Tonight, we break down the myths and misconceptions surrounding mental health. We explore what mental health truly means, why it matters, and how to recognize when you or someone around you may need support. Understanding mental health is the first step toward reducing stigma and creating a more supportive, informed, and compassionate society.

Here is what we learned this Tuesday at M-Wellness ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿค

Stress is a normal part of life, but when it becomes overwhelming, it can affect our mental, emotional, and even physical well-being. This week, we talked about how everyday pressures; from work, school, relationships, and expectations can quietly build up and leave us feeling drained, anxious, or stuck.

We also explored healthy ways to manage stress, including setting boundaries, taking intentional breaks, staying active, and opening up to people we trust. Learning to slow down, breathe, and respond instead of react helps us regain control and protect our peace. You donโ€™t have to carry everything at once, take it one step at a time๐Ÿค
