I’m writing this with tears in my eyes and a heartbeat full of gratitude… because after 2 failed IVF cycles, 3 surgeries, a diagnosis of endometriosis, adenomyosis, and a uterine defect, I am finally sharing the three words I thought I might never say:
I. Am. Pregnant.
For years, I lived in silence, watching life go by with a smile on my face and a storm in my heart. Being single at 49, carrying the invisible pain of infertility, I often wondered if this dream was too far gone.
I’ve battled hormones, heartbreak, and hospital beds. I’ve been told “no” more times than I can count. But hope? Hope never left me.
