‎4 years ago, when I started my goal was simply to put infant feeding information out there.
‎
‎Troubled by seeing how so many mums were struggling because they didn't have breastfeeding and complementary feeding knowledge yet I had that information in my head and wasn't even using it, I started Lea Lactation. To share evidence-based infant feeding information to as many mums as possible.
‎
‎What began as an educational infant feeding blog has beautifully and powerfully evolved into the Lea Lactation you see today.
‎
‎Out of my passion for infant feeding and the need to do more, I studied and got certified as a lactation support provider so I could offer better support.
‎
‎Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate just how powerful practical breastfeeding and infant feeding support can be for families.
‎
‎It has been, and continues to be, a great honour for mums and families to trust me to support them during such a vulnerable stage of motherhood; even welcoming me into their homes.
‎
‎I'm deeply grateful to every mum who has reached out for support, even if it was just to ask a question.
‎
Having mums refer other mums to me as “the solution to breastfeeding challenges” is something I do not take lightly 🥹
‎
‎As I continue working towards becoming an IBCLC and furthering my education, I only hope to do greater things in providing nutrition & lactation support to families.
‎
My goal is to keep strengthening the support I provide to families in Kenya & beyond.
‎
‎I have so many great plans for Lea Lactation it excites me.
‎
The journey is only just beginning. Follow along as it unfolds 😊

Duckbill valves need to be cleaned after every use but due to how tightly closed they are, it can be difficult to clean them using scrubbing pads which can cause them to stretch and tear.
