ARSK Kisumu 2025 was honoured to host patient representatives from the Lupus Foundation of Africa at this year’s conference. Their presence added depth to the conversations, putting faces to the science and grounding the discussions in the lived experiences of those affected by lupus. Beyond their participation, the Foundation had an engaging booth that provided delegates with valuable insights into patient needs, advocacy efforts, and community support. The representatives expressed their appreciation to ARSK for the invitation and affirmed their commitment to continued collaboration in supporting patients living with lupus in Kenya. ARSK remains steadfast in ensuring that the voices of patients are part of the journey towards strengthening rheumatology care in the country.
