Dear colleagues,

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our dear friend and fellow physiotherapist, Peter Mwangi Mwaura (course 50)who succumbed to complications related to chronic kidney disease.

Peter was not only a dedicated professional physiotherapist at kikuyu hospital ,but also a kind and inspiring soul who touched many lives through their work and friendship. Their passing is a profound loss to our community.

As we prepare to lay him to rest this Friday, 3rd we kindly ask for your support. The family is currently facing a hospital bill of 1.2 million Kenya shillings accumulated during his 3 months stay in PCEA kikuyu hospital, and any contributionβ€”no matter how smallβ€”would go a long way in easing their burden during this incredibly difficult time.

Let us come together not only to mourn the loss of a colleague but also to honor their memory by standing with the family in their time of need. Contribution to cater for MWAURA bill and burial preparations.

This Saturday, the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists joined the wider physiotherapy community in mourning and celebrating the life of Mama Patricia β€” beloved mother to Mr. Bernard Choi and Mr. Aggrey Choi, and mother-in-law to Victoria Choi and Caroline Kamweli, who are all respected physiotherapists and members of our profession and association.

The presence of our members, together with the CEO and Chairman of the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya, was a powerful expression of solidarity, compassion, and unity, all which are values that lie at the heart of our Society.

We stood with our colleagues during this moment of loss and shared in paying tribute to Mama Patricia’s enduring legacy.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
