Reliving the Magic of Day 4 at the Nairobi Microsurgery Workshop 🌟👨‍🏫🌍: A Fusion of Expertise, Inspiration, and Innovation 💡💪. The day started with a buzz of excitement as we welcomed our lead surgeons, both local and global.

📌They delivered a series of inviting and interesting lectures, delving deep into the intricacies of microsurgery, sharing their wealth of knowledge and expertise. It was a rare opportunity to learn from some of the finest minds in the field, and the insights they shared were truly inspiring.

📌After a short break, we moved on to the cases round table, where we witnessed engaging discussions between surgeons online and on the table 🤝💼. These discussions ranged from complex cases to new techniques, and every participant was encouraged to share their views, ideas, and insights.

📌The atmosphere was electric, and it was amazing to see the passion and dedication of everyone involved.It was an unforgettable experience 🔬💉. Microsurgery has never been more fascinating!

🐔💉 Day 3 of the Nairobi Microsurgery Workshop was a true highlight of the program.

👩‍⚕️ Dr. Macarena Vizcay led a captivating simulation microsurgery on a chicken model, demonstrating her impressive surgical skills while the residents looked on in awe. The atmosphere was electric as everyone focused intently on the task at hand, gaining valuable experience and insight from the demonstration.

📌The workshop was an opportunity for participants to hone their microsurgical techniques, and Dr. Vizcay's demonstration was a clear testament to the level of expertise that can be achieved with dedication and hard work. As the workshop progressed, the participants were able to refine their skills through hands-on training sessions, working under the guidance of experienced surgeons and benefiting from open discussions at the round table.

✂️The Evening session of our workshop was about exploring new insights into microsurgery through our round table workshop.

📌The first session we had Dr Jorge Urenda who took us though;
-Intra op tips
-Anastomotic tips
-Flap tips
-Post op tips
-Post op complications

📌Second session we had Dr Maleeha mughal on "Streamlining safe autologous breast reconstruction services and optimizing results"
➡️Goals are oncology, aesthetics,enhanced recovery and better patient experience

📌The third session was led by Dr Juan Berner on "Alternatives and timing for autologous breast reconstruction"

✂️Participants were able to gain insights into the latest advances in microsurgery techniques and training,as well as explore new approaches to solving complex surgical challenges.

📌The day started by a lecture from Dr Ferdinard Nangole about his 10 year experience with loupe magnification

✅️Loupe Magnification is a feature used in various fields such as surgery to get a closer and more detailed view of the object being worked on.

🔴Throwback to the 2 live surgeries that took place on the first day of "NAIROBI MICROSURGERY WORKSHOP"AT Kenyatta National Hospital. 🏥 ON 24TH APRIL 2023.

📌With the help of Docthus ,We were able to watch real time surgery which was watched by our audience in the confrence room and those who live streamed the workshop on zoom.

📌It was a very interactive session.The experts explained every step of the procedure and the audience asked questions as the surgeries were ongoing.
